Provisioning
OV One Batch SIM Provisioning System
The OV One platform enables OV customers to Provision, Cease, Activate & Deactivate OV SIM cards.
The following SIM states are available:
PRE-PROVISIONED
The SIM card is allocated to a partner but cannot generate traffic and is ready to be provided.
ACTIVE
The SIM is active and available to generate traffic.
DEACTIVATED
The SIM has been temporarily disabled. New traffic will be blocked until the SIM is active.
By default all OV SIMs are loaded into a Pre-Provisioned state
From a Pre-Provisioned state you can queue a Provide action which will Provision the SIM across the OV network
This will change the SIM card status from Pre-Provisioned to Active
Once the SIM card is active you can queue either a Cease request which will cease the SIM across the OV Network and return the SIM to a Pre-Provisioned state or a Deactivate request which will apply barring on the OV network to temporarily restrict access.
From a Deactivated state an Activate request must be submitted which will remove any barring.
To enable the OV One provisioning feature please reach out to your account manager for further information.
